Dr. Roxanne Contee graduated from Saint Joseph's University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a minor in Criminal Justice. Cheyney University where she earned her Certification in Special Education and Master's of Education. She also went to Saint Joseph's University where she earned her Ph.D. in Education. She received an Elementary and Secondary Principal's Certification as well as a Supervisory Certification all from Cabrini College. She has her Special Ed K- 12 certification and English 7-12. 

She began her teaching career with Philadelphia School District ending with her retirement after 30 years of service. She was a Special Education teacher with patience and love for her students. She has educated children as an elementary and secondary teacher. She published a book on "Designed To Decrease Aggressive Behavior on The Part Of the Students in The Classroom". 

Dr. Roxanne has been a committed member of the Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society- ETA chapter since 1990. Also a part of Saint Joseph's Cross Keys 1990. She volunteered in Middle School with an organization called "Phenomenal Women". 

In 2016 Dr. Roxanne came back to help the struggling children of the School district of Philadelphia. She has been a substitute teacher for 10 years after retiring. She has 40 years of experience teaching children. 

Dr. Roxanne has been a model for 20 years, modeling in New York, New Jersey, Virginia, and Philadelphia, She did her own shows in 2024- 2025 a  Mothers Day Event. I started my own clothes line since 2023, its called Foxyroxy gliz and glam. She graduated from John Casablanca where she was taught Commercials and acting. Roxanne has been in several plays and movies. She was in Magazines and Print Commercials.

Dr. Roxanne became a radio personality for Philly Hott Radio, Whistle While U Work. 2019- 2021. She is the Host of Philly Hott Radio, along with the Host Showtime. She loves to promote others and talk about topics that are concerning our Community as a whole. It is on every Saturday at 10:00 and is very interesting. In 2021 She decided to do her talk show called Dr. Roxanne Contee Show. Every Saturday, she has special guests and great topics. The show airs on Xfinity 66/967 HD &Fios 29/30 Worldwide Roku -AppleTV & On Demand. FB, IG, and Youtube. 

A Philadelphian, raised in Wynnefield, She is a proud graduate of Overbrook High School. Roxanne is the oldest of four siblings. She has two wonderful parents and has been married to a great guy named Earl Contee for 18 years. She was blessed with one son, granddaughter, and grandson. 

On February 14th, 2021 on Valentine's Day, Dr. Roxanne's son was killed after coming out of a store and someone started shooting anywhere. Her son was an innocent bystander. We have to help the community and our children. PUT THE GUNS DONE AND SHOW MORE LOVE. Her strength as a mother comes from God and she praises God every day.
